you can use Prima Hydro over the entire car and be done with it. i use it on my dd's... over paint, glass, rubber seals, wheels. it's a wax as you dry product. it helps prevent swirls too when you wipe as it works as lube as well. it's a polymer sealant so it will last at least 3-4wks. just use it every time you wash and you won't have to really put any sealant on it.

the only reason why i use griot's One-Step-Sealant is because i like how it can remove minor contaminants and any haze i have. i dont necessarily 'need' to use abrasives.
