i did however surrender HagDaz for 6months... i eat only yogurt now Lite 80calories after dinner as desert.

Yeah, I found if we don't buy sodas and have them around, then it is easier. The guys gripe when they come over and there is no soda. One of my Uncles stopped by over the weekend on his way back to Oregon and he likes diet Dr Pepper. So naturally, I bought 36 of them. I still have 34.

Summer approaches and it will be Drumsticks and Otter Pops.

I like drumstix. I want your guys opinion on this. A guy posted in the Camaro forum that he put a down payment on one of the "first" 2013 ZL1. I'm probably one of 600 people with a downpayment on a 2012 that will be changed to a 2013. Who should get the "first" 2013's the 600 2012 orders or a new 2013 order???

normal way would be FIFO first-in-first-out, but you're talking general motors...their warehousing skillz are one of the worst. first-in-random-out at best. :ugh2:

May as well be, Toyotas are built in Kitchener. They probably have a better idea of what's going on in the Oshawa GM plant. :bowrofl:

I started to prep my Z for paint. Masking off all the window's, lights, and such. Pics to be posted once the project is complete. Probably in the next few days.

I was actually wondering about this Ken, thanks for the input...I was especially curious because it's a lot cheaper as well and the turnaround for the Evo-r is 10 days to ship?

Chaddrift 04-11-2012 04:21 AM

lets just say.... I'm taking advantage of a garage (moved last week) and my z is in pieces in the garage, rerouting wiring harness, tucking wires, hammering fender wells, tuning coils and camber kits, redoing full custom exhaust with single out tip, and welding the diff . hate if you must but I'm a 22 year out that doesn't care about the value, just drives a car how it should be... hard lol will be done next week

We don't discriminate based on age, but we do give demerits for immaturity. Good luck on your build. We're in for results. :)

Good morning guys! :hello:

 Well put Brantly!

Gmorning guys :hello:

My day is off to a great start. As soon as my eyes opened this morn I got a text from my buddy saying everything is a go for my parts install Saturday. We were supposed to have access to a lift but it fell through. He called to tell me screw it we are doing it in his driveway:tup: Wont be as easy but it will still be just as fun. The install will consist of the following....

Koni Yellows :excited:
StopTech slotted rotors
Project Mu type NS pads
Z1 SS brakelines
Stillen sway bars
Diff oil change to Eneos
Upgrading to Motul RBF600 brake fluid.
I also have some Eneos engine oil but may wait till right before ZDAYZ to do that:tup:

Should be a long day of work. Looking very forward to it!!

That's a lot of work for one day. Should be doable with help, a lift would be nice too.

Once it's up and the wheels are off, it makes sense to do all all of those things at the same time!

That is very ambitious and a very nice list of parts  -- do not forget an alignment when you are done.

Hmmm I had considered an alignment. You really think the Konis are gonna throw it that far outta where I currently have it??

When I installed my Koni's the alignment did not change. That is no guarantee that you will have the same experience and a 50 dollar alignment is less than $350/tire.

I look forward to hearing your results and I hope that you are taking photos when you do the work. Good luck, man. You are doing a good thing.
