This was free handed. I guess the years of doing custom installations with fiberglass and Carbon Kevlar came in handy... Already planning the next one, it'll be more three dimensional. This was a spur of the moment idea.

The fabrication was definitely for Daddy, the end result was to see the reaction on his face.

I can't wait for Lego. I still have a giant box of The stuff from when I was a kid... Many many years ago. I'm really looking forward to breaking it out for my little guy (and me) to play with! Lego's the shiznat!

That speaks volumes about the our Zs. Youve had multiple flavors of them over the years, haven't you?

Happ Easter guys!:hello:

Yeah -- I have had a few Z's -- 10, I think. The 240 I still have is very cool in its own right, but the 370 for an all-around car is tops to me. I have mine just where I wanted to get it -- mod wise.

dAvenue 04-08-2012 09:29 AM

Happy Easter everyone. God bless you and your Z's.

happy holiday weekend!

motored my Z this am. was a great drive. no dumb bicycle-ricors in the 2lane hwys, just smooth/fast motoring fun. :yum: filled her up, QD'ed afterwards and plugged her to the battery manager for another round of fun in 5days. :D

hope you guys have a nice easter sunday!

Im on my 3rd Z and I hope its not the last. I really want to get a 240, 260 or a 280 someday as a project car. Preferably a 240 or 260. I too am pretty much where I want to be mod wise after I get the rest of my parts installed. I can finally start putting my money elsewhere.

I think my next Z would be a 240 project car. I really like them and would love to have one with an LSX.

Docaam's Z project really inspires me. Have you seen that thread?? Really awesome build.

m4a1mustang 04-08-2012 12:27 PM

Yeah I've been following it a bit.

A Resto-mod type 240 would be awesome. All the bells and whistles of today with that classic styling.

Happy Easter all...I got dinner on the wife's side around 4pm, they are Italian so I will have to be carried out of there...will be so much food lol.

I met up with some VQ members and a couple M3's this morning at 7:45 to do some highway pulls, nothing too crazy...from a roll of 50km

Against an 06 350 I was hanging at his rear bumper...he's tuned and has a few more mods than me so don't feel that bad...pulled away from the G35, and went against the 4 door M3 for fun, wasn't even close...he pulled car lengths away lol.

I'd love a project 240 also....one day...

That sounds nice. There's something to be said for some peaceful relaxing one one time with your significant other. It's the small things in life that I find is the glue that binds.

Just got home from Easter dinner at my best buddy's house and I'm just relaxing with a full belly. :)

onzedge 04-08-2012 06:45 PM

I only did a quick wash with the Z today.

Happy Easter Everybody -- hanging out today with many folks, including Mrs. onzedge and the mother of my soon to be grandshild (as well as very near-future daughter in-law)

Onzedge - that's some Happy looking folks! :)

scottIN 04-08-2012 07:04 PM

Washed it, then got the worst of the swirls out w. Poorboys SSR 2.5. Followed that with SSR 1.0. Another quick wash to get rid of the dust and then my first coat of Zaino Z5 Pro. Stays in the garage the next 2 days so I can get two more coats of Z5 on before I get it dirty again.

LunaZ 04-08-2012 07:05 PM

Motored to the middle of nowhere. I'm near Erie PA right now.

Bruce, I'm waiting on my fronts to arrive (got my rears yesterday). As I understand it, wet dry and track grip are all excellent on the mpss. They are pricier tho. Plan on ~$300-$330 per tire.

I wasn't gonna do it...but I'm so excited to get em on that I can't stop looking at em. Here's a re-posted pic:

Where did you buy the Michelins? Price I see right now on TireRack is $455 per tire.

brucelidat 04-08-2012 08:47 PM

$1462 for all 4 with mounting/disposal/road hazard, tax etc. for the Michelins at Costco. The guys says they have $70 off deals often. He said they pretty much alternate monthly with the deal between bridgestone and Michelin with maybe a 2 week gap in between.

I see. I loaded my cart at TR.com; it tallied up to $1494 @ $373 per tire ($455x2 + $292x2). There's got to be a better deal and I want what Happy got in on. :icon17:

dAvenue 04-08-2012 09:05 PM

Alrighty - well I just ordered the Michelins. ETA is 4/11

Edit: my wife is awesome for letting me get these. Bam.
