I always heard just covering it would do the trick, I guess not. Is it the actual temps inside the car that are heating it up then?

theres no issues with my knob! :bowrofl:

I agree with the fact that not everyone can drink. Personally, my last drink was July 26, 2000 -- not that I am counting. The scary part for me, and people who know me well, is that I am the way I am naturally.

Morning, Mr. Kenchan. I owe you a rep, but am fresh out for the day, again.

no problem, mr. onzedge!

i am angry  often so people probably think it would be better for me to consume alcohol to calm me down... but then again, my anger is wat drives good things. :D wat's missing from today's young j-arses is self-decipline.

That was the most adrenaline filled afternoon I've had in a long time...at least not since hauling balls in Forza 4. The sirens were going off like every 10 minutes for an hour here Plano. I doomsday prepped in just a mere 5 minutes and was ready for all hell to break loose. Thankfully, nothing happened. However, two towns where I used to live were hammered hard by twisters (Lancaster and Arlington). The News reported no injuries were sustained, which is quite remarkmable...but still, I hope those folks are ok.

And good morning. :tiphat:

I'm inclined to agree even though I haven't yet experienced an earthquake. I've actually observed clouds beginning to rotate from a near distance years ago. The vacuum effect produced by that alone was alarming. My ears felt like they were going to pop.

yah, i experienced similar to that about 4 yrs ago when we had a tornado touchdown about 1.5miles from my house. the tornado itself was nothing huge like the ones you guys experienced (for us about 2blocks of commercial buildings damaged) but it was SUPER windy. it was like wind picked up out of no where from like 5mph breeze to 75mph gusts within the time i pumped gas into my Fit. i was completely drenched by the time i was done... :icon17:

alcheng 04-04-2012 10:48 AM

Good Morning Everyone!!! :hello: :hello:

I am at my mechanic's place at working on the spacers and spoiler…… :excited:

Mr.kenchan… seems the allergy season comes a bit earlier than usual, I bet it's because of the warm winter/early-spring. Hope you'll get better…

Young people nowadays…… I agree to most of you, a lot of them don't give a damn on how to get things done properly… looks like a 'C'or 55% is considered an 'A' in their standard……… :shakes head:

Speaking of alcohol…… last time I had was…… last night :p it feels nice to have some cold drinks after tennis :icon17:

Sorry to hear 'palm got burnt by hot-knob'… that's what I fear and that's why I go for leather……

Hope Everyone is having a Great Day!!!!

Mr.Alchemy, any news about your transmission and code???? :tiphat:

hi mr.alcheng! GL with the spoiler and spacer install. :D so you got the canvas already fixed as well? :)

yah, i look a my kid's report card and it's like there's no grade, only percentile and some weird code system. i want to see a grade... A, B, C, D, F not '99percentile' and Effort. why is the school curving grades for grammer school kids??

also the saturday private school he goes to. one time he competely forgot to fill out a page on a test. the teacher only graded the portion he did and did not penalize him for the page he forgot. wtf is with that? obviously i got angry at both my kid (for failing the test even though it said he got 100%) and the school for not penalizing a mistake. it's like the school system is raising these damn pansies! :icon17:

Mr.GaleForce, good day you are having!!! I pass by a gas station this morning and notice the gas price has 'only' raised to $1.37. Lol, they are soooo generous.

Mr.kenchan, kids/students get less pressure and penalty nowadays, thus lots of young graduates/employees has no idea how to handle real-world situation……

Haven't replace the canvad yet, I chose Spacers+Spoiler over canvas. LOL :happydance:

Will call the dealership today to setup a time next week.

It's just like drinking 5 cups of expresso to keep us awake but 1 glass of volka to get us drunk. LOL

Reminds me of the movie "Mr. Mom". "What wiring are you running, 220?"

"Yeah, 200, 221, whatever it takes."

GaleForce 04-04-2012 03:29 PM

Like I said earlier, I took my wife out for lunch. We chose a little English pub downtown, and took the Z. Then my wife went to work, I had a little bit of time before I needed to pick up my little guy, so the choice was, do more drywall work in the basement, or, try my new pressure washer and foamer out.

The pressure washer and foamer won! Just a quick wash, followed up with some Prima Slick. I'm waiting until I have more time so I can do a proper detail.

Anyways, here's a quick iPhone pic before I put it back in the garage.

Being a Red Seal C&M electrician by trade, I find that very funny. It doesn't make any sense at all, genius! :icon18:
