I dont understand why it so hard for people to park or pull out of a parking spot. My girlfriends car had been hit a dozen times in parking lots since we moved to Vegas several years ago. Ive been lucky with my cars but my work truck seems to get dinged all the time. Casino parking lots are far worse than any other lot, too many old people that shouldn't be driving or too many drunks. I try not too drive the Z in the evenings when most of the lot accidents happen but its too much damn fun not to drive.

Good Afternoon Mr.GaleForce :tiphat: The weather is very nice today, I remember there's a very nice route connecting Coburg and Port Hope along the lake side. Hope you can take your Z for a spin.. :driving: ** Update, my mechanic just called me 1/2 hour ago telling me the spoiler has arrived!! :excited: :excited: |

Trucks, cars, motorcycles or whatever. It's expensive, but it's supposed to prevent corrosion and makes your hoses last longer. Some claim lower oil temps and better fuel economy.

Dealership just called. New trans already installed!!! Going to pick her up now  I cant believe how fast this process was!
|
our cars were designed to use the coolant that came in the engine so i'd use that.
plus, these newer coolants only need replacement like once every 6yrs or something crazy. my G's had to be replaced 4yrs in and from there every 2yrs drain and fill. :) |

It's a new technology and with the 13:1 compression ratio.... You know reliability from Mazda... Why not a Rogue?? Quote:
Have fun on your trip back from dealership. :driving: |

it has to be a fun to drive car yet fairly boring so it hides in the background. :icon17: i had a Fit 5MT and while it was fun to drive the seating position and pedal location (too close) was terrible for me and too damn slow... so got rid of it last year just as soon as my smaller kid could get in/out of my G on his own. :D max budget: $22K MSRP. i dont want to spend too much on this car as i want to save up for my next hobby car. |

Well, I must say that my new trans dont feel too great. Its very hard to get into 5th & 6th. It seems like the neutral gate slightly extends past the gates for 5th & 6th so it jams. I hope I explained that so its understandable. Why would this be!?!?!?! And if the trans is defective why didnt the tech notice. Aaarrrgggg, frustrating!

Definitely let the dealership know so it can be documented.

Also, looking at the 13:1 compression ratio..... I know it is not a sports car engine.... mmmm........ :ugh2: Have you looked at Matrix, the price and engine specs falls into your criteria pretty good, it has MT and also more torque than the CX-5, lower ride height than the CX-5 thus I believe more fun to drive. :tiphat: Wait!!! Did I hear 'my next hobby car'?? Quote:

toyota is like a japanese buick (or olds... remember those? lol) to me so i dont like them at all. hahahahaha. :D i hate the US toyota lineup. so this leaves me with only a few choices for MT's and hatch. i dont want to get another Fit. my other choices would be a Golf/Cooper. yep, im not selling my Z any time soon, but i save up for my cars in the background. i expect to keep my Z for at least 8-10yrs like how ive been keeping my G. my G still looks brand new. |

I think it shouldn't be a problem with the fold-down back seat.... |
Here is a drawing to better explain the problem. The arrow is pointing to the groove that its getting stuck in. Like I said, its like the neutral gate extends too far before you have to push down for reverse.

I took Mr.Alcheng's advice and went down to see how the water looked today.
http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7239/7...e1233e9a_z.jpg photo by J M Gale, on Flickr I didn't go to the beach though, I'm not sure I would make it safely over the speed bumps now with the swift springs. I'll test it out another time. |

Seriously, driving over bumps with the Swifts just takes practice. I almost never rub. Think "angles". Think "slow". Think, but don't say "screw you guys honking at me because it takes me so long to exit the grocery store parking lot". I hope this helps. |
