yah, even my G's paint is harder than the Z. they are both brilliant silver and same paint code, yet they are a slightly different shade. it's pretty ridiculous how soft the paint is.
on a black, definitely use polymer sealant and keep a good coat of LSP on top... everything shows up on dark solid colors. bird crap can be very acidic based on wat the bird ate. i recommend you also look into doing a full clearbra if things are really bad.
