First off, for the record I love the car. That being said, I'll have to agree with everyone here that the paint leaves something to be desired. It is not long after a wax that water sheets across the car. Oddly enough, my wife's 2001 Altima with 150k+ miles seems to have a better quality paint job than my Z. Her car sees far less wax and much more tree sap than mine and water continues to bead on it. Hopefully, the paint department is the only place Nissan has cut the budget
