Both are great cars, i never really looked at going from my 8 to an X however for 2 reasons. weight and high reving 5th gear. It all depends on what you want. If your looking at the MR i would asume you know that the tranny cant be pushed over 350wtq so you are limited in upgrades with the MR. If you go with the 5sp you can throw bolt ons on it and run low 12s in the qm. I find the tq a little weak in the 370 it def needs a turbo or SC. If your just looking for a car for yourself and maybe your special lady friend then get the Z if u need more room and dont want to do a lot of modding get the X MR if you want an all out beast with room for the fam get and EVO 8 or 9
