dude, the Z has horrible blind spots, i bought the convex mirrors, it doesnt look bad, but even then im still very very cautious changing lanes.

Don't fix the blind spot issue.
The blinking side-marker is actually the solution. It lets the driver/car whose at your blind spot realize that you are bashing over onto his lane. See, the R&D team at Nissan is so Brilliant!!!
