Default Blind Spot Mirror

Has anyone found a small, tasteful stick on blind spot mirror that doesn't look like total ****? I have a roadster and there is a big blind spot for lane changes. Living in Atlanta, it is a problem!

Thanks Dad. I did a search and read all the posts but didn't see any stick ons that looked discrete and didn't distract from the appearance. I guess I am a little to anal about my car. The expressways in Atlanta have 6-8 lanes and it gets pretty wild at the speeds everyone drives. I guess I will just have to live with it or go ugly.

I checked Autozone, Advanced, eBay, amazon and Manny, Moe and Jack and they all had the same selection. They all look like they belong on a 62 Checker, not my baby! The roadster has very limited vision out of the inside mirror with a lot of interior reflections so you have to rely heavily on the side mirrors to monitor what is behind you. I found you do the lean over adjustment it limits your ability to see what is coming up behind you. I thought maybe someone had found a solution since the older posts. Again, thanks for trying! I envision a small framless rectangle model that blends with the stock mirror.

I have the little round blind spot mirrors on my roadster. They are awesome and highly necessary. I have never had anybody walk up to the car and notice them.

Those were the first "mod" I put on the car. I went straight from the dealership to O'Reillys to get them.

I did the same thing on my coupe. I want to replace the side mirrors, but I can't find anything I like

yeah, I need to do something before I wrinkle it up. Driving in Atlanta is like the last lap at Taladega. There is one spot downtown where Hwy 400, I-85, I-75 and I-20 all merge in and out within 3 miles and it is 8 lanes wide in that area with and HOV lane. If there are no wrecks the traffic moves at a pace between 55 and 80 with people putting on makeup, texting, dialing phones, eating breakfast and reading the sports page. Frequent lane changes happen, sometime defensively to avoid the above drivers.

I think I will buy a set of the 1-1/4x2-1/4" rectangle ones tommorow at Autozone and see how they look. The worst that could happen is I would be out of $2 bucks and back to where I started.

Thanks for the input guys and if I find an attractive solution I will post it.

ya know before i adjusted the side mirror almost all the way out, i bought some of those 2-3" round blind spot mirrors from Autozone. I had thought about taking the black frame off them and somehow just attaching the convex mirror. It looks doable but i never got around to it. It would look borderless but its a matter of keeping it attached with the elements, since water might get behind the mirror easier. its worth a try.....but buy a few sets incase you break some.

A much more expensive (but very appealing) approach would be the CraftSquare racing mirrors.

Craft Square

Adam at Z1 Performance can get them

I picked up a couple of the small rectangle ones today but couldn't bring myself to put them on. I ended up putting them on my Titan instead. They just looked to bad to go on beautiful Z. They looked kind of like something you would see on Grandma's 86 LaSabre with the deer whistle and AAA sticker. I decided to make this a personal quest so I will eventually find a palatable alternative!

Isn't that a total oxymoron?

Yup, this is the best thing to do to reduce the blind spots on any vehicle.
