We are out of stock on the red rings right now. We should hopefully have more in stock in the next week or two.

One of our customers came up with a smart idea on how to to keep the shift boot up tight underneath the shift knob.

He used two o-rings and it works perfect. We tried it out and we agree. It's a good solution. If your shift boot is sagging a bit, we would be more than happy to mail you out of few of these o-rings, free of charge =)

Yes I have removed the spacer before the install. I will try the o ring option but I feel like I shouldn't have to use the o rings to have proper fit. I feel like I have a flawed piece. Is this the issue with everyone else?

If you feel that you have received a defective piece, we can most definitely replace it with another one. We have installed a dozen of our knobs on the shop car and cannot replicate the problem you are having.

If this issue is not common with everyone else than I would like to receive a new piece. I also noticed that when I install the knob all the way down the logo is upside down and I cannot torque it down any further. And when I place the logo to face the right way the knob is completely loose.

That is what the included loctite is for.

apply a decent amount of loctite on the shifter's threads on one side (dont need to put a huge amount), thread in the knob, get the pattern to your preferred angle, and let it dry over night. should work just fine.

i like my shift pattern slightly facing the driver side.
