Wow I never saw a car so mangled and shredded before, it's a miracle he is still alive! I guess if he was still in the car he would be mush.

To be fair, jaws of life probably did some damage afterwards. I guarantee they used it to free the passenger. Still crazy though. The fact that people lived through that is pretty remarkable.

Default To all douche bags talking about this driver!

The Driver of this 370z is a close family friend of mine and he was being chased by a guy in a silverado and was ramming him trying to make him wreck he was going over 110 trying to lose him when the truck hit him from the side (P.I.T maneuver) and spun off the road and flipped into multiple trees and signs.
He is in ICU with a broken back and neck and multiple other injuries do to being launched out of the car at 100 something mph... The doctor says he has a 17% chance at living and if he does he will be completely paralyzed...

Sorry to hear about your friend. These things can be avoided but it's always 20/20 looking back at the past. A 17% chance of living isn't much but he did survive the wreck so let's hope he pulls through.

From what you've said I'm going to assume the driver of the Silverado has been arrested and charged with the crime. Correct?

that is absolutely horrible! I'm really sorry and hopefully we can all pray for the him to get better.

As for the thread, please keep negative stuff or funny sarcastic jokes out of it and keep it on topic.

Dude, that's f*cked. Drunk driving is inexcusable, but it's not like we really know what happened. It sounds like you went through a lot of sh*t in the past, but this situtation has nothing to do with that. They weren't racing, the guy it seems was trying to get a away, totally different scenario. That's like saying rape is just playing hard to get, it's absurd. What happened here hasn't been excused by society in any way and it seems like the guy driving the Z has already payed the price...if not more. You can be as much of a hard-*** or cold blooded as you want, but I think many here would rather give our sympathy to his friends and family, rather than say "pull the plug on him." No one here is perfect, least of all myself, and I'm pretty sure neither are you. It's easy to preach in hindsight.

First I pray that they all make it out of this horrible situation well.

Yep lets just assume he was a mass murder too since we are just making up our own facts. I assume your a saint to be able to pass judgement down on others so easily. And I admire your ability to see into the future and avoid conflicts before they happen. Unfortunately we are not all the second coming of Christ like you. When your scared for your life you don't think every action through.

PS good job stereotyping women your cool.

The nissan driver is probably a douche or whatever, maybe????? But I know I get pickups tailgating me harrassing me and cutting me off all the time. Who knows how that began??? Pick up truck drivers usually hate on imports often. I see it done to others constantly as well, even more aggressively than its been done to me. All I know is pick ups are 10x more aggressive than sports cars n I see them have more accidents overall.
The attitude toward sports cars from SUV/Pickup world is incourageable.

Maybe it's the mystery of you being "unknown"

I agree with you though. I get head lights right on my *** all the time and I cruise 68mph on the freeway in the center lane minding my own business.
