I only wish he was a permitted gun carrying citizen, as soon as the truck chased him and started ramming him he likely could have stopped and shot him and been in the clear. After all, if you ram a cop with a car its "assault with a deadly weapon".
Florida is a "stand your ground" state so that probably would have been a viable option if the truck driver continued to attack him when they stopped. Ramming the guy is definitely assault with a deadly weapon.

Good point, forgot to take that into consideration in this situation. In VA we can't drink and carry, I assume it's the same in other states as well.

Though I don't know if there's any evidence that Sean was drinking at all? He was driving so I would think he was not intoxicated.

I don't know of any state that allows you to carry while drinking. I have a permit to carry but it's not valid in California where I live right now. In Washington I certainly cannot carry while drinking. It's a bad idea all around.

The more I hear about this the more I wish for the Z driver to pull through. Nobody should have to pay for their mistakes (especially during their youth) with their life. If he really didn't know this girl and was trying to help her out, this is rediculous.

Doesn't preclude one from keeping a weapon tucked away in his car though. Back when I lived in GA I had a dedicated "car gun" that always stayed in my center console, even when I was carrying on person (which meant that I often had two guns within reach). I only carry semi-autos, but I opted for a compact revolver for my car gun because I figured if I ever had to open fire while seated in my car, I didn't want hot shells ejecting within such a confined space. Plus with semi-autos, there's an increased risk of jamming when firing from odd angles.

If that would have happened in VA, the truck driver would have been shot. Hopefully he will at least get 10-20 years of a$$ pounding in the state pen.

In TN we can carry in bars, we just can't consume while carrying. My guess is that if he was able to drive a car through traffic at 100mph and not wreck (until someone rammed him) then he was probably well under the legal limit, if not totally sober.

Same carry law with bars here in VA. And I agree.

Speaking as someone somewhat familiar with these situations, posting details or renditions of events (true or not) is not especially wise from a legal standpoint, and spreading hearsay doesn't tend to help with the case.

I think the lawyers that will represent those involved (and those involved) would probably prefer not to have those posts out there.

If i saw my girl with someone i didnt know walking out together from a bar or party, i'd be pissed too especially if he speeds away going 100mph + with her in the car (even if its a z!). Still no excuse to give chase and rear end the other vehicle. Not sure what the laws are in other states but in oregon, if you rear end someone, it's entirely your fault regardless of reason.

Situation reminds me of Chris Rock Bigger and Blacker.
What about the parents? The parents.

The parents is really ****** up, man.

Their damn parents need to go to jail for some of this ******* ****, man.

'Cause everybody knows that crazy-*** kid that went to jail.
You go, ''Man, he ain't never had a chance.

''lf you'd known his mama, you'd know he gonna be there.''

l was at the club the other night, down at Life, chilling at the club.

l'm chilling with this girl. She was dancing.

lt was about 2a.m. l'm talking to her, and realized she had two kids at home.

l don't mind the two kids at home, that's all good.

But I'm like, ''What the **** are you doing in a club... at 2 in the ******* morning, on a Wednesday night?"

''What the **** are you doing here?
