I'm experiencing the same thing. I'm only at 30 mi. at the moment. When I first got the car this week power felt a bit lacking under 3-4k rpm compared to my '03 350Z under normal driving. It definitely needs more pep on the low end. Overall drive feels very plush.

However, the subdued exhaust tone finally kicked in, and I felt a bit of rush when I gave it more gas. Even under the break-in period, that feeling was quite rewarding.

As for pushing it to the limits, no interest really. I was already content with my 350Z, but the 370Z definitely lifts my spirits and brings back a classic sports car feeling (probably from the interior).
I do notice this car likes to rev!
