I totally disagree, if your looking for HP and not much else - by all means get a muscle car and drag race high schoolers in mustangs all day long.

The Z is not about raw torque and HP. Nissan is a Japanese company, and they build Japanese cars - not american cars. American cars have their own attitude and purpose, and Japanese cars have theirs. Nissan wont bump the Hp without the appropite chassis, brake, suspention changes. I dont think the Z needs any more power.

To be fair, the mustang seems to have a very nice chassis for its hp level. The 'vette is world class, and the Camaro ZL1 runs the 'ring in the mid 7's.

American cars are not what they used to be.

Then go read my post. Pobst doesn't race ALMS or LeMans for GM. People at SR did. They didn't have a problem. Pobst did.

If you can find a place where I said I personally could drive as well as Pobst, please post it, otherwise I don't know what you're belly aching about. Trying to make something out of nothing is what it looks like to me.

The claim is that you did not push the car and yet you make commentary about things that happen when folks do push the car. This is the discrepancy.

I'd laugh at any one here that claims they can drive as well as Pobst. You never claimed that.

I'm saying that Pobst the Volvo driver whined about it and yet the ALMS and LeMans driver did not, nor did I see anyone have any issues with the back end. When they wanted to move it, they did, and it moved very controllably.
