[QUOTE=ImportConvert;1117525]They haven't have a Z51 in the better part of half a decade. Like said, the seats are re-designed for '12 as well. Also, a set of seats isn't a big deal, won't void a warranty, and won't cost an arm and a leg.
2009 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 Tested & Compared with Z51, Z06 - Feature - Auto Reviews - Car and Driver Pretty sure it's still an option, regardless of any changes to the seats it may have I added that for relevance. My point was that in my personal experience, when I drove the Vette I was sliding all over the seat, while I don't in the Z. Yes the Vette was leather, and my Z is the cloth upholstery, so that very well could have made the difference. My seat of the pants impression (literally) was that there was very little hip bolstering. With the majority of Vette owners using them for boulevard cruisers and what not, I would also hazard a guess that few of them are keen to drop $1k+ on a new set of seats. And I'm not saying they lacked bolstering on spirited driving only, it was in routine cornering I found myself sliding |
