A better "solution" is to always carry a pair of snips in your car. Nothing like clipping all four valve stems to get someone's attention.

Seriously, I'd put a note on the car with the picture stating they had 24 hours to contact me with their insurance information before I turned it over to my attorney.

This occured yesterday, and our security left a note on his car but have yet to receive a response from the owner. A second note was left today. Both the security personel and I have taken pictures and documented the incident. Believe me, I am pissed, especially because I see his car outside my office and I want to beat the **** out of it and confront this F'er. But since this is where I work, I'm trying to keep it cool for now. I'm thinking of taking matters into my own hands and leave my own note with this picture on his windshield. And my last resort is to file a claim with my insurance tomorrow if our security fails to get in touch with the owner. As you can probably tell, I am quite frustrated...

He's actually doing you a big favor. Look at all the space he left between himself and you. No chance of a door ding. No chance of anyone else parking right next to you. I would actually be happy that he parked next to me.

Well, no one else was going to park in that lot and that lady literally just parked right in the middle of two spaces. Literally, NO ONE parks in that lot which is exactly why I park there. Took this picture earlier in the day yesterday to show what I mean (this is every day of the week):

This was my initial intent, but the security personnel I spoke to asked me to give them some time to talk to the owner about it.

I know exactly what you mean, but jeopardizing my job over a front bumper didn't seem worth it.

Haha! That would have been awesome, unfortunately it was a middle aged Indian man.

Anyway, this morning I spoke to the security guy and he informed me he had located the owner and he would speak to him. In the end he admitted it was his fault. We exchanged insurance info and he seemed like a nice person and was genuinely apologetic. I'm not sure why it took him this long to respond, but we made progress. But I won't be satisfied until I receive a check or a confirmation from his insurance company that they are going to pay for the repairs. I've had this happen to me in the past; where another guy admitted fault but later I found out he told his insurance company I hit him. With no pictures or witnesses it was his word against mine, and I ended paying for my own repairs.

Good work, someone idiot did something like that with my old Camaro, except it was an suv and the triler hitch was left depressing into the top front bumper. Thankfully the front to that Camaro is plastic like the rest of the car and little damage was done. I returned the favor with a nice key mark down the whole side of their car.

You don't know that for sure. It still doesn't change the fact that she did you a favor. If anyone else happend to park in that lot, they wouldn't be parking next to you thanks to her!
