when you guys buy a new car, do u get offerd a program that covers dings and scratches. It's called the "smart program" here in canada. I didnt get it on the Z, which i should have when someone hit my rear bumper and took off. But i got it on my Evo and the only scratch thats on my car right now was from when i was putting the dp in. And they repainted the fender for free.

That would rock! It's kinda like "accidental damage" coverage on your laptop where they replace any damage no matter what. I was offered no such coverage.

It just seems to me there are more douche bags driving pick-ups than any other type of cars. They tend to be ruder both on the road and when parking, and they show totally no respect to other drivers and other people's cars

Yeah, can someone please explain why someone would want plastic genitals hanging from their vehicle?? Cuz... if you've got that much to prove... you must not have any of your own.. ???

Yah, it doesn't help that often times they have doors that are a mile wide....which has a rough semi circumference of two square miles, the lowest point of which is just below the Z's mirror height!
I find this thankfully fading trend to be entirely inappropriate.

I often blame pick-ups for the idiot driving, but I think it's just because idiot driving is just so much more obvious and offensive in something large and boxy and designed for dirt roads and driving into ditches instead of the sassy punk driving I mostly see from pick-ups. A Cobalt or Honda Fit (or Z!) driving like that--you wouldn't look twice. A big pick-up, well, they just stand out because it doesn't fit. And just looks silly. Then they back straight into concrete walls, and you're like
![]() I mean, if you want to drive like a boy racer, get something designed for that. |

Both accidents I've been in were caused by the driver of a pick-up truck, but for insurance purposes were considered my fault. This is why they are my natural enemy! Almost happened another time when my sister was driving my Z with me in the passenger seat.

When I had my 350Z. Although the person wasn't too close, given the number of empty spots all over the lot I don't understand why they decided to park next to me. My Z was all by itself and no other cars anywhere near when I parked.
