Correct me if I'm wrong, but think that way back when, to start the car, you pulled out the choke lever, turned the key on and pressed the starter button

Correct me if I'm wrong, but think that way back when, to start the car, you pulled out the choke lever, turned the key on and pressed the starter button mounted on the dash. My point is that the push button starting is not totally brand new. It was also done in the '30's and '40's.
