The camaro and Z are almost identical in straight line speed. I think the camaro it a couple tenths faster then the Z. if you do a power to weight

The camaro and Z are almost identical in straight line speed. I think the camaro it a couple tenths faster then the Z. if you do a power to weight ratio they are withing a couple hundreths of each other. Somewhere around .1 hp/lb if i remember correctly. I almost bought an SS Camaro but the Z is just a nicer car. The camaro feels faster because of all the low end torque. so it pushes u in the seat more at lower rpms. But the weight kills the car. Its all personal preferance. I liked the Z more so i bought it lol
