Default Hit A Rooster

I was going to my dads house this morning to install my new shift knob. Which is in somewhat of a rural area. I'm there cruising down the road and all of a sudden I see this rooster start to cross the road from my right. I get out of the throttle slowly hit the brakes. It looks as if he was about to double back. But no, he starts to fly to the other side of the road. I knew it was on then. I start to go left a little to help cut down the angle of his flight. Good thing I did cause it didn't hit my fender. It ended up hitting the windshield with a good smack. I start cussing. I pull over to see the damage. But luckley there was only a bad smudge on the upper winshield and the roof line. But it easily waxed off. Sad thing is I had my camera but didn't think to take a pic of the dead rooster. Thought this would be a funny story to post.
