This is common in the Audi tt world. A larger Mass Air Tube (say 10%) then you increaase Fuel Pressure 10%. All things balance and you reduce intake restrections, IE increase the air to the motor, only a minor increase in total power but response is greatly improved. I saw the steep-down in my CAI tubes and thought about changing it.

Call GTM! They have the VVEL solution and the larger mass air tubes along with the ability to tune it all!

It will all be released with my car. Conjecture says something along the lines of a piggyback or standalone unit to control VVEL. Sam has some big things in store *cough* possibly some N/A monsters

Oh please don't allow this discussion to any further. The stock MAF housings provide more than enough flow for whatever power you're ever going to make N/A. The fact that our engines already have two intake tracts provides MORE THAN ENOUGH capacity for future modifications.
But go ahead, waste your money Just don't confuse this N/A platform for one that greatly benefits from induction modifications like with pre-turbo intake modifications on an Evo, STi, Audi TT/S4, whatever...
