That's what I was initially thinking. It looks like the solution above might be cleaner. We'll see.

Same. My main problem is the passenger side I feel like I have a massive blind spot there at the 5'oclock angle.

lulz. No one comes up from behind. But when I'm passing someone, I want to be able to see when I'm clear to get over. Also for parking lots and such.

Poof. No more blindspots.
This is a good tip. I've done the same. I've always in the past made my mirrors show just a little of my car for a reference point, but on the Z I've moved them way out which helps. I still feel like I'm not confident in lane changes though.

This is good. I might need to just play with it more to get comfortable. My last car I could just turn my head and look, I didn't have to rely on mirrors 100%.

Ahh. lol.
I think the new Mustang has one as well.
My last car I could just raise up out of my seat, look and see just about everything. I'm not complaining, I like the **** out of my Z. Just want to adjust to it and feel safe/confident. I also want to track it, and when you're tracking the more visual data you have the better.

Leap of faith to push mirrors out all the way and it's good to go now. I always set mirrors to see a little bit of the car in driving so I had to go out a little further and tada. For backing up I would recommend a back up camera. No more backing out on faith.

But only Nismo's, right? So he wouldn't have those on his car.

If any car needs a blind spot monitor it's the Z. It should be standard in all of them!

OK... I just set my mirrors all the way out. I've had the little round stick-on blind spot mirrors on for a year or so now and they work OK for me. I'm gonna see how I like the mirrors set out like that. In one afternoon of driving around like this I've noticed I can still see the side of my car in the little blind spot mirror but see other cars in what used to be the blind spot in the much larger side view mirror. I'm gonna stick with this a while and see if I like it. So far so good.

Has anyone talked about reversing out of a parking spot? Its worse than the blind spot issue.
I cant see crap when backing out of a space. I always fear I might get rear ended.
