LSx swaps are not unique, its the most common swapped engine in to vehicles.

Want to be unique? Swap in a VK56 or a built VH45DE.

But it still makes the most since to just turbo your VQ37.

Are you kidding me how many 370z's do you see running around with any kind of corvette motor not to mention an LSX how would that not be unique and If your gonna start comparing a VH45DE or a vk56 which one is an Armada motor and the other a qx motor to an LSX??Which is A RACING CRATE MOTOR not that the other's are not but there simply is no comparison here so.....Honestly you should not even be posting in this thread or racing cars

He is saying an LS swap is the most common engine used when people do engine swaps. There are reasons for it, great power, smallish engine, and bolts into almost any car, but what he is trying to say is be unique instead of just going with the standard LS motor. Go grab a nissan V8, which so far I have only seen one Z ever do (a 350z) and it was a 'meh' build.

there's a g35 with a vk56 titan motor:

looks pretty cool. i haven't found any video of that car going in a straight line though. seems to be strictly a drift car.

Not how many 370Zs, how many cars period. Theres not another engine in the last 10 years thats been swapped into various cars from various makes more often then the LSx engines. Its been done literally THOUSANDS of times.

You don't think the VH45DE and VK56DE have been used in factory race applications? Maybe you should do some research on both of these motors before knocking them, they have MUCH more potential then I think you realize. In fact, boosted, they probably have more potential. But I won't get into that, you obviously havnt done your research and will probably never even attempt pulling out your VQ37.

For the price of an LSx swap you could have a 1000HP turbocharged VQ37, and that is a lot cooler then any LSx swap would be.

Im not going for an LSX I want an LS3....And to get to 1,000 whp with a VQ37 takes a lot of money In building the motor not any ordinary set up can get our cars to make that kind of power. I love my car But I love LS motors And i wanna run my Car to the ground an Swap an LS and If you think Im wrong by doing so Go ahead and Do whatever the hell you wanna do with your own car and don't knock on my plans. The nissan V8's are nice But I just feel That GM knows What there doing when it comes to the LS series motors end of story...I started this thread to help me see what kind of process I would have to go threw to do this swap Not to Debate what V8 or What motor Would be better to Swap. If you don't have anything productive to say please find another thread to Debate about Pointless things.
