What do I do if I get a "fix-it" ticket?

If a police officer gives you a "fix-it" ticket on a "Notice to Appear," the "yes" box will be checked below "Correctable Violation" on the front of the ticket. The police can give you another ticket if you don't fix the problem immediately.

When you fix the problem, get an authorized person to sign the "Certificate of Correction" part of your ticket.

Take the proof of correction to the court and pay the dismissal fee before the deadline. You can check your ticket or contact the court to see if the court accepts proof of correction by mail.

The court will then dismiss your case and it won't go on your record.

Why do we (CA)have to have a front plate any way?

Exactly! Just put em up! I got pulled over before for not having front license plate. I guess, I just got lucky because the cop let me go. It happened during the time I was taking photo of my WRX.

It doesn't look good, but it's really not worth spending time, unnecessarily, getting pulled over when it could easily be avoided.

That just about sums up how Americans lost America to the government.

Default Trick

I have never had a front plate and I just take the plate and attach it to the front bracket and throw it across the pavement face down. Keep it in the trunk and when you get pulled over, if they hassle you just show the plate (now scratched like it skidded across the pavement) and say that it fell off and you havent put it back on yet... has worked for me so far... And I have blacked out windows and taillights...

^^ A+

Since the drilled holes on in the black plastic portion of the bumper it should be too hard finding plugs for the holes even if you did mount the license plate holder. Bumper Plugs will not fit as they require 1/4" holes or smaller.
