Congrats! I thought about one, but in my personal opinion I can never tell which Stang is differ from the others. When I see it on the other side of the lane I'm going through my head with, "Now which ones are these." The Z, I just look at the headlights lol

Haha those issues you mention probably won't bug me nearly as much as the failed CSC (a couple of weeks ago) and stupid throttle lag. Seriously, is the ECU really holding back power?! Even my friend thinks I'm babying the car when I'm driving it, but I tell him it's the throttle response. These two pretty much ruins the fun of owning this car. If I had another choice for a V6 sports car, it would be the NSX. [shrugs]

Congrats on your 5.0 What a nice engine!

I just don't get it. I've never had any issues with my Z. I've owned it for over a year, driven over 9000 miles, driven hard at times, and never had any problems/issues.

I know, there are a lot of threads with various problems and dislikes. But that's human nature. To each their own. If you can't find happiness in a Z, then something else would probably be better for you.

Bad luck (?). Maybe. Poor care (?). Maybe.

I never had issues with mine either (aside from the ECU whine) but you don't have to read the forums long to see that there are a few bad apples out there. In general these cars are very well built and reliable, but every now and then a bad one slips through the cracks.

totally and the new stang will have a few bad apples too. All cars do. Dont know why when its all built the same but it happens. I have put 23K miles on my Z in around 15 months and havent had a problem yet. No ECU whine and the hatch was fixed with the new fix, other than that no problems other than the excessive amount of people that pull up to it and say what a cool looking car it is. I just want more power cuz Im used the Z power already.
