VDC is included in the base model. Sport package has bigger brakes, tires/wheels, VLSD, SynchoRev Match for 6MT.
2009 versus 2010 the Touring+Nav was updated with better screen (supposedly), USB support instead of 12V iPod only, took out CompactFlash reader, but greatly increased USB hard drive capability (2000 songs versus 512 on CF) but I just got a 80GB iPod from eBay and have no problems in the 2009. Also rumors of running change to air extractors to quiet cabin, and to engine to prevent excessive oil consumption (which only effects a few 2009). You can add the air filter to the 2009 easily if you want - it has the slot in the ventilation.
