a proximity sensor just detects something that is nearby. depending on where you put it, if someone is too close to your it could go off. I personally had it

a proximity sensor just detects something that is nearby. depending on where you put it, if someone is too close to your it could go off. I personally had it installed inside the cabin, if my windows were down and someone leaned into my car, the proximity sensor would detect the person and set the alarm off even if they never touched the car.
Lo-Jack is not an alarm. Lo-Jack is a tracker system. It is hidden in the car, and if it gets stolen, it will activate and tell the tracker equipped police officers where your car is at. |
