nissan seems a little lazy and unexciting when it comes to color schemes. Not much of nothing for the 2011 370z. It would be nice to see a little power

nissan seems a little lazy and unexciting when it comes to color schemes. Not much of nothing for the 2011 370z. It would be nice to see a little power bumb for the 370z to say 350 and nismo 370hp. Come on nissan look at what they did for stangs. I know they don't compete with one another but still...it would be nice to have an extra boost.
Or at least nissan could of given us a E85 option.

I agree. Bad choice. The GTR is quite an ugly car to begin with. Now, it's ugly AND has a mid '90s design motif. Blargh.

"Where is the extra layer of clearcoat on the 370z??!!"

Maybe they are saving it for 2012 model? Sound dampening in the cabin will be nice too
Despite all the upgrades on 2010 and 2011 model I'm still not missing out alot on my 2009 Z

the MY11's are kinda a non-event. Expect a little more meat on the MY12's.

You want a pathetic, boring color pallet...shop for a VW. They must have the worst color line of any mainstream car brand.

You are right, Nissans love affair with Silvers/Grays started in 03 with the Max. They offered 4 different shades and have pretty much continued that trend here and there on the Z and Max since.

I'd love to see a medium red, or an actual deep purple. That's be sweet IMO

+1 on the deep purple. Maybe even a Starfire Blue like Toyota had on the Supra; kinda looked purple up close.

Don't be selfish. It is not like the 370Z is the upper echelon of performance cars.

Also, I hope Nissan is listening to their fans. The 370Z is already being outperformed by the Camaro SS and most likely the new Ford Mustang GT 5.0. And I'll be damned if the new Challenger does it too.

if your talking straightline well since the 5.0 is faster than the SS then thats a given about the Z but... the current challenger atleast the one i drove is not faster than 370z.. but there is talks of the challenger going to 480hp

On a straight line, SS and Mustang.

On a running circle, the 370Z probably.

On a track (where turns and "straight" lines are involved and thus both sides are taken into consideration), the SS and most likely the GT 5.0 beat the Nismo 370Z.

The mustang GT turned a faster lap time at VIR during the "Lightning lap" by a considerable amount than the Nismo Z tested a while back (before the brakes went and it was wrecked).

On color options I would change monterey blue to Athens blue. Second I applaud the backup cam even though it's a year too late (just see how many posts complain about rear visiblity). I still would have liked to see a two tone interior. A more distinguishable special color.
