2011 GT-R and 370z Details

Automotive.com has a short article about the 2011 GT-R and 370z models and the revisions for each.

The 2011 Nissan GT-R is available now through approximately 650 official “GT-R certified” Nissan dealers across the United States.
Revisions for 2011 GT-R include:

* Simplification of the line-up to one fully equipped model – Nissan GT-R Premium
* New slightly darker wheel center caps
* Double clearcoat on the front and rear fascias
* Addition of rear cooling ducts to improve cooling performance around the rear floor area
* Retuned suspension with strengthened rear bushings
* Standard auto on/off headlights, speed-sensitive windshield wipers and USB iPod® interface
* Standard Streaming Audio via Bluetooth® and DVD playback
* XM NavTraffic® and NavWeather™ capability added to navigation system

The 2011 370Z Coupe and NISMO 370Z go on sale in October 2010.
Revisions for 2011 include:

* RearView Monitor added to Navigation Package (370Z Touring)
* One new exterior color: Gun Metallic

The 2011 370Z Roadster goes on sale in October 2010.
Revisions for 2011 include:

* RearView Monitor added to Navigation Package (370Z Touring)
* One new exterior color: Gun Metallic
* Full-size spare tire available as option

Where is the extra layer of clearcoat on the 370z??!!

I'm gonna call my dealer once october rolls around and see if i can't get that camera system installed in my 2010.

Guaranteed this back up camera system will only work with the 2010 built-in NAV system Sorry 2009 owners....

But I am in! woot woot! Can't wait! I had heard that this was going to be an optional accessory for this summer. I will be calling my dealer this week!

2011 GTR was just a "hold over" model year the refreshed 2012 GTR will be out in about 6 month

so disappointing if true.

I'd have loved to seen a dark blue, any shade of orange, or a nice apple green.

That's what I'm sayin.... nissan and Infiniti have more shades of grey than I don't know what??? I guess nissan has lost its imagination??? I would love to see more blue shades and a green intro. How bout some form of orange? This is a sports car. That's one area I gotta give it up to hyundai and chevy... they offer some pretty cool colors for there sports cars. Oh well. I still prefer Z performance though.

I say bring back the Daytona Blue instead of that other blue color.

I think the backup sensors are good enough and there's not much need for a backup camera. In fairness there's little need for any form of help to reverse if you know what you're doing. So, i'm glad I didn't wait for a '11.

Gun Metallic, so basically the 40th edition is now a standard color? Why couldn't we get a different blue, or red, or the Burnt Orange everyone
