just got word from the wife that she was able to go downstairs by herself this pm. huge milestone. (for those that dont know, she suffered back injury on Sat which kept her in bed the last 2 days).
yesterday i took the day off to look after her and taking the kids to summer camp, etc. and she was only barely able to sort of walk clinging to furnishings. :p the saddest part for me was that i was driving the FitSport the last 3days. i was so f-king glad i took my G to work today. :D |
I smoked the reflectors in my headlights...

typeone- looks sharp!
im kinda oldskool so dont mind the amber reflectors... |
Placed an order for some sheaths to cover my oil lines from my oil cooler. Plus some PCV breather hose. These are for aftermarket intakes and eliminates the stock intake resonators. Plus they look good even though I just ordered black. Will pick up this weekend.

Rode the R1 to the dealer to check on my Z. They got the test pipes in... funny first question was "Hey you know you dont have cats anymore right?".
Hey anyone know about the cat support brace/bracket. Ive read some threads saying it can cause wear on the HFC/TP.. Anyways they hooked it up ater the Z1 test pipes required some modifying to fit. |

Went to get my carbon spoiler installed, only to find that the holes for the template that comes with it are in the complete wrong place. Thankfully I stopped the guy before he started drilling, otherwise there would be two useless holes in my hatch. I'm going to a different body shop tomorrow morning, the guy there is very confident and is highly regarded so fingers crossed third time's the charm!
Nice to hear your wife is doing better Kenchan! I'm sure your company gives her a big leg up, no pun intended... :) |

Washed and did my first clay bar treatment on the Z today. Also washed the girlfriends Camry.
Tomorrow is set aside to put a nice coat of wax on the Z. Should be some great weather. I may have to try out the new camera after the wax job. It's not anything special but it isn't an iPhone. |

Haha, I imagine it would be funny to come up with a revenge prank. Just watch out so that it doesn't turn into domestic war! |

Nice Mityvac Luna. Hope we have gotten past all those camera posts. I was about to stop following the posts cause I had nothing to add LOL Back on topic I drove my car today after washing and QDing it. I drove it a few days ago 600 miles and it needed washing. I was test driving a fire truck and the guys showing the truck liked the car. I said it was a chief's vehicle so that I could answer calls at 140mph. NO I have not tried that. I haven't installed a red light or siren. I usually don't go above 70mph responding in my truck with lights and siren. Oh and I posted my car in the for sale section. Don't know if I really want to sell it or not. I might have my #2 car sold and would be nice not to have a car payment when I start my next project. This is my next project Wix.com lemansprototypes2 created by lmp1000 based on blank bottom I have an 800hp small block chevy ex-sprint car motor to put in it.
