haha Ken, same here.. Every time i get a new toy, my SC fund seems to get smaller : (

Drove the Z to work today, needs to get a wash before i take some pictures of her with the new cam.

Here are some quick shots from the new NEX-5 for reference! Overall im satisfied with the iAuto mode. However, according to DPreview ill need to spend some time messing with settings to get DSLR quality from it.

Ken,

From what i know the 3 tuning fork has been used since the beginning of Yamaha motorcycles to unify the brand logo  Current logo was implemented in 1998!

In 1898, one year after the establishment of Nippon Gakki Co., Ltd., forerunner to today's Yamaha Corporation, the company decided to use a tuning fork as its corporate mark, with "a design featuring a hoo (Chinese phoenix) holding a tuning fork in its mouth" as the trademark. Since then, after undergoing a variety of changes that paralleled the growth of the company, the tuning fork mark was finally unified in 1967.

Luna, what are your thoughts on other tires? I'm sure you cross shopped before zeroing in on the RE11s? Like what do you think about the Dunlop Star Specs, or Yokoham Neova's, or my favorites are the Toyo Proxes and GYear F1 Supercar....

Decided on the RE-11's based on other members' preference for them.
I loved the Dunlop Star Spec tyres when I had them on my MS3, but the only go as large as 18".

kenchan 07-27-2011 12:00 PM

starspecs are also only directional pattern right? not asymetric with reinforcement belts on the inner treads. those dont work that well on our cars even if they offered our size.
