Ugghhh...never heard of them, they must have been underground and off the radar even for shock value. bootlegs maybe...dunno.

That little plug in the top pic is for the airbox resonators that my 2010 doesn't have. I'll make a diy this weekend if anyone's interested.

Interested....but didn't Mod Shack already do this? I may be mistaken thou...

kenchan 12-06-2011 10:44 AM

I don't know how I ever missed the fang vent DIY! Just found it.

What Modshack did was route fresh air directly to the main inlet of the airbox.

All I did was route extra air to the airbox via a hole meant for the airbox resonator. This requires a smaller dia hose (1.5in ID). My original intention was to bring the hose to the front slats of the bumper similar to Modshack's idea. But in the end, I decided that when the car is moving, the air just inside the bumper would be every bit as cold as the air outside (or a negligible difference at most). Pics on previous page.

Someone should do BOTH!

Been deciding whether to bust out for the Hottest Z Calendar Issue OR spring for the PWJDM knob  Both will keep the right hand shifting.....oh snap.....no chicks in the calander....so wrong.

Vegitto-kun 12-06-2011 03:00 PM

Also I paid for my amuse vestito kit end january. they recieved money early february.

Its now december.

Still no body kit.

First one got lost in mail.

then we had to pay the shipping for the second one.

That one still hasn't arrived.

FUN FACT. No shipping tracking. they apparently have no idea where the **** it is at the moment.

brucelidat 12-06-2011 03:07 PM

who'd you order it from?

Vegitto-kun 12-06-2011 03:07 PM

Directly from amuse.

I stand corrected Mr onzedge, you are alright in my book. :tiphat: Not many caught on to them before Bob signed the movie contract for The Wall...then it was all over for the Rats...sad. I had a chance to see them during their first N. American tour, actually they were performing for record label execs Columbia/Epic and played one of the few venues that ever gets a rock band - The Coconut Grove in Los Angeles. I snuck in a 35mm camera with a telephoto lens. The seating was Las Vegas lounge seating with small tables. Got a few great shots.

We called them. We have a note saying it shipped but they say that they cant track where the container/package is UNTILL it reaches belgium.

so story.

vestito 1: destroyed during tsunami thing most likely.
Vestito 2: got lost in mail.

THEY lost it in the mail. We get a free replacement(number three) but....WE have to pay for the shipping. was like what ? almost 1500-2000 dollars?

so now we are about 4-5 months after number 3 shipped.

still nothing, no idea when its arriving or if it will even arrive.

I swear to god I am never buying another amuse part. ever again. I actually wanted to buy their titanium exhaust if my FI one got sold or broken.

Now screw them. seriously.

That kit is way played out now anyway. Put the $$$ saved on the kit towards power so can can TRY to keep up w your dads GTR.

No because that money wouldn't even cover half of what I would need to keep up with the GT-R.

Especially now :icon14:

And considering that the vestito has only been shipped to europe twice (mine and some german) it is preeeetty exclusive here.

Drove my car to work as always but it was 42 degrees outside.
and discovered my car had grown 2 extra pistons.

i just thought this car was quick. any temp under 60 and this thing gets nasty
:happydance:

Footloose301 12-06-2011 07:34 PM

Lol 2 extra pistons

Skeeterbop 12-06-2011 07:38 PM

It gets quicker until you put ice on the ground, then it becomes a slip and slide event at 10mph. And what's even better is that it is just as fun as a slip and slide. :D

oh...gotcha. The G must get a winter beating with the weather you have. I would be buying it in bulk (5 gallon plus) if they sell it in that size...shipping would be thru the ceiling though. And I thought I was bad cleaning the Z every weekend 9 months out of the yeaar, but between you and Mr onzedge I think you two should have your our own network detail show. :tiphat:

Footloose301 12-06-2011 07:44 PM

Not doing anything with my Z but I and TMAN1985 are helping ScGRacer install rear speakers in the Nimso. Also I'm installing a custom radar mute button for his Escort.
