Easy install?

Install was a piece of cake -- 2 bolts on each arm. Unbolt the old and bolt in the new then adjust.

Been offline since Thurs afternoon...any-who. Had friday off Vet-D, went to see Immortals, real good, like a modern day Ray Harryhausen of Sinbad and Clash of the Titans (the original version).

Washed both cars (got some sprinkles during the wash), then went for some Sushi.

Off this morning with both cars to Mr Onzedege's house to check out his new stance and taking the DSLR and tripod for some photoshoot....dunno know where though...but the lighting should be good, partly cloudy today...good for some high contrast photos. Outa here...see ya in a few.

Motored my Z this am. Was a great drive. :p swapped the fit's wheels to snows and washed. Needed to go to bank (I'm here right now) stupid ATM can't take 100bills and too high to reach from my fit via drive thru. Wtf. line inside is stupid long too like immigration office. :icon17:

When I get home going to wash the G and do more house chores.

SPOHN 11-12-2011 11:35 AM

Going to pick up a 10mm allen socket to change my MT fluid. Can't believ I dont already own one.

Skeeterbop 11-12-2011 11:40 AM

Got my front bumper smashed at breakfast and decided it's time to cut my losses and put the car back to stock.

Skeeterbop 11-12-2011 11:53 AM

that sucks, how bad was the damage?

The bumper is ruined and I think the radiator support may be a bit bent since the hood isn't flush. There are pictures in my thread in my sig.

Here comes another part out sale

Felix 808 11-12-2011 12:04 PM

Fixed the 3 :shakes head: holes in the front bumper that were made when they put the license plate frame on. I could see 2, but 3 http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/.../confused1.gif

EVERYTHING will be for sale... I have a lot of crap. I will hopefully part out the car next weekend. Hell, why wait? Maybe I'll go take the sideskirts and diffuser off now.

Good luck with that! I hope they can take care of you.

Fortunately, I don't seem to have the problem.

Did you ever install that radiator? Interested in what you might have.

PM me if you're serious. I don't want to speculate anything until I make the official thread.

I would also like to see this list, especially if your front lip survived.

Absolutely great guys and an awesome facility. Met master tech Jason, and was highly impressed. Looks like the next project after this one will be springs, just need to get comfortable with the new bumper and my driveway.

Saw Dreamer's car - ouch! But it's in capable hands. Cool ride BTW.

The mods are a go - parts being ordered today. If all goes well, it could conceivably be finished by the end of next week. Pics will follow.

Baker rocks and took great care of my machine before I shipped it here to Germany! Good people! Paul and Jason are top notch!

Skeeterbop 11-12-2011 02:36 PM

So I went over to the Dealership to see what they would say about the paint, and the service department was closed. So now I have to go back on Monday and hope that they are open.

No, I'm thinking it was just an incompetent tech. The 3 were in an L pattern. Must had a good weekend & was still feeling it. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/...iley_dunno.gif Who Knows. Ask Who

Installed Tein springs today on my Nismo

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f2...xx/001-3-1.jpg

Not the most aggressive drop, but just what I was looking for. It got rid of some of the wheel gap, but still have everyday driveability. Should lower a tad bit more once the springs settle in.

I hope everyone is having a nice weekend!

We had some light rain last night but when I woke up this morning it had stopped. The car cover again kept the Z completely dry and clean so I uncovered her and drove down to the beach.

I was able to get a surf session in and had a great time, here are some pics I took to make you East Coasters jealous :p

I always park next to this house and walk down to the strand to watch the surf. It's a really baller house!

Too bad you can't enjoy your Z year-round.

Its cool, helps keep the miles down and the salt from the roads off it. Although I would LOVE to drive it year round. Those months without it are tough.
