What did you do with your Z today

No stealership work for me.... except maybe warranty work. I look forward to changing oil and getting underneath the car

Just bought JVC KW-XR610 CD receiver at Crutchfield.com

With a badass XM setup and steering wheel controls.

Grand total $350.

Shiiiit, I'm alright with an $80 oil change. Everyone was telling me it was upwards of $200 for the esther change.

esther sells for something like 12/quart *5 quarts = 60bucks. 80 sounds about right.

speaking of oil, i put in penzoil ultra and its been in the 80's and 90s here. ive noticed a 20 degree drop in oil temps. i hit 240 pretty easily on factory fill, but i hardly ever see 220 nowadays!

Is it esther? I'd love to "hardly" see 220 haha. And can I get oil changes at a regular oil change place as opposed to Nissan, with this oil? I want to take care of my car, but I also like finding the most sensible way to do it.

most sensible way would be to drive over to walmart, buy a 5 quart jug of penzoil ultra + mobil1/purolater/k&n filter; drive home up some ramps; and change it yourself

it'll cost you ~$35, 30min of your time, and a lifetime of respect. come on...every guy should know how to change their oil!

I was told Armorall is no good for interiors.

Regarding oil changes, this oil change and the last one, they put in normal oil to their recommendation. It was 34 bucks in the end so i had leftover money to buy a wireless 370Z computer mouse and ordered a GT-R start button hey said to use normal oil for first couple fillups and then I can go synthetic if i want. Let the flame begin, but I am following their advice.

armor all is terrible. i use plain water to clean the dash, then a spritz of 303 aerospace protectant followed by a nice buff with a clean towel. you end up with a nice not shiny, but clean looking matte finish.
