What did I do with my Z today? I got warned by a Sacramento Sheriff to slow down.

I was leaving a grocery store parking lot at 730 this morning and apparently was doing so with too much enthusiasm as I turned left onto El Camino Ave. A block and a half later I stopped at a light and saw in my rearview a car approaching hastily. He was back-lit with the sun so I could not make out what type of car it was, but he was going quite fast.

Just as I was thinking "what an a$$", he quickly changed lanes to pull up on my passenger side. I then put two and two together when I saw who he was. My attempts at pleasantries were met with a warning that he could tow my car if I do it again. Geez, I do not think I was going that fast or breaking any laws, necessarily, and there was no one else around except him and me. I was not racing or squealing my tires, just being a bit spirited, I suppose.

I am 50 years old -- being chastised by a 20-something guy and it made me feel like I was 16 years old. What could I do but say "I am sorry sir and I will be more careful.

:icon18: hahaha. that was probably cossie with dog duty today

glad you didnt ask the kid if he brushed his teeth this morning and kissed his mom 'bye' before leaving for work. ;) i have high regard for the cops in my area. they're very cool people...and a lot of them are carguys and girls.

Made it to page 38 of the GTM TT install book already.

Beginning to remove the headers now. This is where things slow down.

I hear that. All I could do was be polite and apologize. I drove away feeling pretty childish.

Yep,I'm really impressed with the driveablity, shifts, run great very clean & smooth all the way to redline, runs better than brand new.
the lag is gone the only thing that is alittle weird and takes some time to get use to is the gas pedal moves aloft from no thottle to floored so since there is no lag you just have to get use to the amount of movement in the pedal.

Got it detailed yesterday for a car show today. Detailers left some kind of dried up residue on the interior that I missed but the judge didn't. I missed a trophy by one point.
