Per the ZdayZsite the speed limit is 30mph, soo those going 50 where speeding LOL, Anyways it also says that the area is not populated and there is little risk of people pulling out infront of you, but crossing lanes is deadly. Keep you car under control at all times guys. I'm sure you've seen the post from the guy a while ago who had a PU swerve into his lane and both in it where killed. TheZ driver was in his lane and was doing nothing wrong, he had a severly broken leg but was able to drag himself out of his car. Stay safe guys. We don't want to start filling this forum with memorials of past Z owners, or to give a show a bad reputation.

But where did I say I was going 50mph? If you want to get technical, I never admitted to that.

Also, we had the tacit acceptance of law enforcement officers, who had stated they were less concerned with speeding than crossing the yellow line.

The bottom line is this. None of us is perfect in how we drive or what we post. But the rules are the rules. If a ton of threads spring up to discuss kill lists or street racing, then law enforcement will start paying attention to the dangerous drivers on this forum, and that effects the admins of this site as well as the members.

While maybe they were a bit excessive in pointing out nynhex's error, the other users were trying to inform him of the rules.

It is on a link from their page. I'm sure they had speed limit signs also, but regardless if people where crossing the yellow lines they did not have control of thier cars.

As said lets get off this subject and return to the thread, I did nothing with my Z today other than putting the car cover on it in the garage.

I was extremely careful to stay on my side of the yellows, as were most Zdayz attendees.

Help-tire/wheels

Hello Everyone,
I know i may not be in the right section but i need help right away.
I plan on doing theses purchases today.. Thank you
xxxx
I just purchased 20 inch wheels.
20x8.5 with 40 offset and 20x10 with a 35 offset. HELO 834's
the dealer tells me the largest tires are 245/35 frt and 275/30 rear.

I want to know if i can put 255/35 frt and 285/30 rear or 275/35 rear??
any help would be greatly appreciated. I am running completly stock and
dont plan on doing any other changes right now. If anyone is running these larger sizes have you had any rubbing issues??

Also I need to know if any one has had any good or bad experence with
Hankook V12 or V4 // Toyo S.drive // or Falken 452 tires??

:wtf2: I bought my finace a Traverse and made sure my kids had everything they needed before I bought my Z. Even the. I still shed a tear when I watched that commercial lol.

Fire 05-24-2011 07:38 PM

dbayd the NISMO has 245/40YR19 (front) and 285/35YR19 (rear). Going up to 20's you would decrease 5 in the aspect ratio i.e. 285/30/20 That would assume no drop. I can tell you that my vert is dropped with eibach springs and I have no hitting with 20mm spacers front and rear and stock 245/40WR19 (front) 275/35WR19 (rear) BridgestoneŽ Potenza. I don't think you will have a problem with them assuming the back spacing is correct. Hope that help a little bit. Look is tires/wheels section you should find exactly what you are looking for.:ugh2:
