If there was an easy way to upload pics from my phone, I would. The fabricator, JUST today, mounted the turbo, fitted the downpipe, and mounted the intercooler :) |
Today I bought Sibze's F.I. Carbon Fiber Catback Exhaust and had it installed at the shop. Holy crap what an difference. The sound is an awesome deep growl and my butt dyno definitely registered an improvement in power.
It was a great day for the Z. |
Took the wife on a nice date out in the Z. Nothing like taking both my ladies out.... ;)

Today USPS is scheduled to deliver my craftssquare so in the am going to go motor my G. :p would suck if I got into an accident before installing onto my Z. :D well, that's not the real reason.... need to get my G some gas after some errands with older kid. |
Washing the Z today... Again
|
got up at 5:45 am, gave her a nice caressing body wash, using 4 separate wash mitts. Amazing Roll Off for rims, tires, and wheel wells, Pinnacle for the wash using 2 grit guards and 2 buckets... then sheeted dry, then blotted dry with Optimum Detailer, then waxed the wheels with Optimum car wax... Now it's already 8 am!!!
will wax her with Pinnacle Sig Series II later on today. Tires will be dressed with Poorboy's Bold n Bright... |
What did I do with my Z today? I got warned by a Sacramento Sheriff to slow down.
I was leaving a grocery store parking lot at 730 this morning and apparently was doing so with too much enthusiasm as I turned left onto El Camino Ave. A block and a half later I stopped at a light and saw in my rearview a car approaching hastily. He was back-lit with the sun so I could not make out what type of car it was, but he was going quite fast. Just as I was thinking "what an a$$", he quickly changed lanes to pull up on my passenger side. I then put two and two together when I saw who he was. My attempts at pleasantries were met with a warning that he could tow my car if I do it again. Geez, I do not think I was going that fast or breaking any laws, necessarily, and there was no one else around except him and me. I was not racing or squealing my tires, just being a bit spirited, I suppose. I am 50 years old -- being chastised by a 20-something guy and it made me feel like I was 16 years old. What could I do but say "I am sorry sir and I will be more careful. |
made her nice and shiny :yum:

Washed the Z, them took her to get some gas. $33.00 for less than a 1/2 tank, since that was all I need it.
