Painted the strut tower brace. It just got lost in the dark engine bay flat black. I think it looks better silver.

I'm in the waiting room at the dealer right now getting my first oil change at 2600 miles. Nervoussss.. I think they are putting in conventional. Is that ok? Maybe I'll do mobil1 next time?

I know it's your first time so just breathe... it's going to be ok. they are probably (should be) using the Nissan Ester Oil. Do a forum search on oil and you will find more debates that you have time to read before you next change. :)

Thanks for the reply. I've read enough of the debates to know that nobody knows what they're talking about  They put in conventional oil and the parts + labor cost me $42 or so. Coworker suggested not going to synthetic until after 5k miles.

Nice. Looks a lot better than I would have thought.

Went and bought rat poison. That's right. My dad and I park are cars in the same garage and with both found droppings and acorns on top of the motor. Didn't find any damage at all. But I will kill those bastards.

Didn't the dealer give you a couple of free oil changes when you bought the car? I am assuming that you bought it new.

Finally drilled holes in my rear panel for adjustment to my rear coilovers. Also checked oil level and air pressure.

When I can remember (tomorrow I hope), I'm dropping off the strut tower bar to get paint matched (pearl white). I was going to do the Stillen airboxes too, but they're at the front of the engine bay and tend to get dirty faster. I'd rather not fight to keep them looking white, whereas just doing the strut bar will add a bit of color and be easy to keep clean.

Might do the engine covers too, at least with an accent of pearl white. We'll see.
