Really? But u took ur pics with a dslr then had to load them to photobucket via a pc, right? Esp if u have to edit....

Alchemy 07-21-2011 09:20 AM

^ Well yes G2Z, I do edits on my pc then send to photobucket. But when im actually on the site its always from my phone. Ill upload them to the forum from my phone. Really the only time I turn a pc on is to edit photos or play on some other kinda art program.

FromG2Z 07-21-2011 09:22 AM

^ makes sense. Yeah I am really enjoying moving about the forum via my EVO.

My husband never has a problem when he drives it.

Finally got around to making the covers. I used hard felt. Will back with magnet strips so it doesn't flap around in the wind. :)

Yes the hood is unlatched as she's hooked up to the battery manager during the week. :)

Idle isn't as low as 12.0 like it would sometimes be. Cruise is anywhere between 13.0-15.0, which is better than 12.0 like it would sometimes get to. under boost is still lean. I'll be calling HP Logic for a tune in the next few weeks as much as I hate to get a 4th shop involved in my car....but I've heard nothing but good things about them.

Bummer man. Sorry to hear it's still acting up.

You guys are running the MAF sensors bridged now, right?

It's running "better", but not 100%. Nothing will be confirmed until I pay HP Logic a visit for a retune to see if the bridging did any good...and yes, the MAFs are now bridged.

Plural? You going to make a double stacked lip? Maybe put a tongue in the middle.

Do it! If I were to do it again I'd find a lift and drop the engine. It would make the process much easier.

A friend of mine is building a garage with a lift so I'll be all set when it comes time to put the stroker motor in. :D

Thanks for the heads up! I was leaning that way myself. I have a friend with a lift in his garage as well. He manages a shop that does all the work on my non-toy cars, like brakes for my kids. He and his son just built an insane drag car (I won't say what it is but it's initials are M****ng). I was thinking I could talk him into helping me out when I get ready. Probably won't be until next fall. I have a couple of things I want to do to the Z32TT first.

yah, i will definitely be working on my camera this weekend! if it rains i will take snaps of my garage. if it's nice out i will first do my Z's picts followed by my G's picts.

i made folders on the SD card like this:
M_UV (manual mode UV filter only)
M_CLP (manual mode UV + circular polarizer) not sure if i will use this time
AP_UV (apeture priority mode UV filter only)
AP_CLP .. and so on. :p

for garage shots i think im going to do shutter priority and use a tripod, no flash. :p maybe some close ups using manual and 55mm F5.6.... i need another lens with smaller apeture to do closeups...

also going to see if i can stop by bestbuy and check out the macbook pro's... i think i5 should do it for me... although wife insists i get i7... :icon17:

LunaZ 07-22-2011 01:17 PM

Emptied out my trunk and took off the cargo area cover to rule out those items as the source of the noises I'm hearing.

TypeOne 07-22-2011 02:06 PM

Kenchan, he probably really meant to say lips because you have to order them in pairs because they either fall off or mystically explode while driving.

LOL

Case in point:

What remains of my second one...

Econ 07-22-2011 02:15 PM

did you take your bumper off and bolt it on with nuts and bolts or no?

i think that's the route im going to take

wow...

econ- you are going to use new nuts and bolts (and washers) to mount this thing, right? dang... reminds me of the crappy tiny tapping screws that came with the Ings. lol...

just raise the front (put the car on ramps), remove the bottom cover, and make new holes from the bottom into the bumper.

yep. im going to home depot and buying some heavy duty nuts and bolts, and use twice as many as they recomend.

http://file.seekpart.com/productsima...9151213265.jpg

TypeOne 07-22-2011 02:21 PM

Yes... the bumper came off and it took about 30 mins or so for me to line it up properly and drill the pilot holes through the lip and the bumper. I also removed the factory sport lip because it got in the way.

Acutally, I used 16 bolts and nuts along the entire bottom of the bumper.

What was bolted on stayed. Everything else exploded.

TypeOne 07-22-2011 02:23 PM

And just so you know,

The first Splitter that I had, I used nothing but the screws and tape that came with it from Stillen and the lip magically vanished off my car while driving one night. At least the one I bolted on KIND OF stayed on.

I get home and it was just gone... It's a good thing they are cheap. lol
