Finally got around to making the covers. I used hard felt. Will back with magnet strips so it doesn't flap around in the wind. :)

i made folders on the SD card like this: M_UV (manual mode UV filter only) M_CLP (manual mode UV + circular polarizer) not sure if i will use this time AP_UV (apeture priority mode UV filter only) AP_CLP .. and so on. :p for garage shots i think im going to do shutter priority and use a tripod, no flash. :p maybe some close ups using manual and 55mm F5.6.... i need another lens with smaller apeture to do closeups... also going to see if i can stop by bestbuy and check out the macbook pro's... i think i5 should do it for me... although wife insists i get i7... :icon17: |

Emptied out my trunk and took off the cargo area cover to rule out those items as the source of the noises I'm hearing.

haha i prob wont go through with the wheel idea |
Kenchan, he probably really meant to say lips because you have to order them in pairs because they either fall off or mystically explode while driving.
LOL Case in point: What remains of my second one... http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f3...Z/c2e0fbb5.jpg |
did you take your bumper off and bolt it on with nuts and bolts or no?
i think that's the route im going to take |
Quote:
econ- you are going to use new nuts and bolts (and washers) to mount this thing, right? dang... reminds me of the crappy tiny tapping screws that came with the Ings. lol... |

Yes... the bumper came off and it took about 30 mins or so for me to line it up properly and drill the pilot holes through the lip and the bumper. I also removed the factory sport lip because it got in the way.
Acutally, I used 16 bolts and nuts along the entire bottom of the bumper. What was bolted on stayed. Everything else exploded. |
And just so you know,
The first Splitter that I had, I used nothing but the screws and tape that came with it from Stillen and the lip magically vanished off my car while driving one night. At least the one I bolted on KIND OF stayed on. I get home and it was just gone... It's a good thing they are cheap. lol |
