And yes it will unlock your car, but if you do not open your door, the car will automatically re-lock itself after a certain amount of time that I am not sure of but I think it's after 2 minutes or so... BTW my G35 does this so I'm guessing they added the same feature to the Z. It's nice to open your windows during a hot summer day to let out all the hot air prior to getting in. __________________ Current: 05 IP G35C 6MT
