In the 8 Months I've been going to college in Florida, my car has been "rubbed" twice at school. no notes, ever. 1st time the paint buffed off, second time it was rubbed straight through to the plastic of the bumper. ******* nobody knows how to drive at my school :/

to the OP...your best bet would be to have this discussion with your ins. agent...hopefully you have one instead of a 1-800 #...he/she's most qualified to answer all your questions..

for all we know MA law may not allow diminished value claims..once again another question he needs to ask his agent.

OP did mentioned that the white Honda was backing into that parking space and she obviously is a poor driver.

Little update for you all.........I brought in the Z to the dealership yesterday to start repairs. They will be replacing the entire rear bumper as it was basically ruined when the lady repeatedly tried to back out of her parking spot, there is a large hole where the bumper meets the quarter panel. I wont list all the parts, but the entire left hand side has to be repaired, except for the front panel over the front tire, which surprisingly has no damage. The back driver side wheel has to be replaced as well as the side mirror too. I looked at the appraisers costs for the gunmetal rims and it looks like each rim costs roughly $775 to replace. After all these parts are replaced they have to apply the paint and clear coat. I JUST FOUND OUT
that they found an additional 1200 dollars worth of damage on top of the original $3000 grand they found a few days ago. I spoke with the services manager and he didn't have the details about the additional damages they found, so i need to call tomorrow about that. I will keep you guys updated and post pics when everything is finished. The dealership also wants to do a story on the repair job and post before and after pics on their website, so ill let you know when thats done.

Man, I'm so sorry about all of this. I swear, if this had happened to me, I would have killed them.

I mean, how could she f**k up THAT BAD on a parking job? It almost looks deliberate!

Damage doesn't sound to bad.
Also avoid thing that they want to do an article on it.
That secures you that they will do the best job possible.
