Speaking of C&D, the June issue will have an update of the Nismo track incident. Apparently they finally admit it was not brake "failure". Seems the pads were worn down to the plates and they boiled the brake fluid. Question remains, were the pads worn when they received the car? If so, this highly publicized incident was very damaging to the brand and Nissan should sue their asses if this was the case.

If this is true C&D has some serious questions to answer: 1. Why would they or their driver get behind the wheel WITHOUT checking the pads first??? 2. Why didn't they check them right after the crash? You would think they would have pulled off the fracking wheels and checked the pads immediately after the crash and, if they found worn pads, they should have STFU...? |

For starters, Nissan could just install the new brake pads as a standard for 2011...
I wonder if the 2011 Nismo will actually have automatic transmission now that most sports automakers (Ferrari and Lambo) are ditching manuals... |
