370z Top Gear Power Lap

That list doesn't specify whether the track was wet or dry. Many of those cars were driven on a wet track and would be much faster on a dry day.

That list doesn't specify whether the track was wet or dry. Many of those cars were driven on a wet track and would be much faster on a dry day. Check Wikipedia for a complete list with track conditions.

The GT3 is a wet track time, the Z a dry track. If you think our Zs are as fast as 911 GT3s, you've been smoking something. Or you're just high from the fumes you've inhaled from the GT3 smokin past you...

From watching the show it seems like I remember them subtracting a few seconds (3-4 sec) off the wet track times to compensate for the wet track. They noted the wet track times with a W behind the time.

Having watched a $hit ton of Top Gears, I can tell you they don't change the actual times. All they do is add a notation for the track condition.

they never touch the times. there set in stone wet or dry. amazing thing is how quick some of these cars are when its raining.
