Remote key fob question

Haha true. When I was in HS in San Diego there were some pizza delivery guys driving new benzes and other high dollar cars in the nicer parts of town.

This would be good if you got into a fight by yourself after a club or something. You were super drunk and beat up all the dudes trying to steal your car. But during the brawl your cell phone and key fob got destroyed, but luckily your car was still running. So in this situation one might appreciate it.

Haha, first rule of fight club is put your key fob in a safe place.

What I always do if I want to keep the car running while going in somewhere real quick or warming it up in the morning is just take the keys with me and then press the lock button on the door. Unless I'm fooling myself here...no one can get in the car and steal it since I am the only one that can unlock it when I get close to the car...

Are you sure you can lock it like that? I've never tried but in my old Lexus IS350 with push button start, if I left the car running and tried to lock the doors, it wouldn't lock. I could manually lock it by flipping the door lock and then closing the door but I could not do it via remote (which never made any kind of sense to me).
