Exactly this. Which is why the community is reluctant to help you hoon on the streets. Am I saying we are street angles over here 100%? No, but I'm not going to venture down that path because I don't want words getting twisted around. OP seems to be a special kind of dense.

I can speak from experience that a part malfunction at low/moderate speeds can result in serious carnage on your car and endanger others. Boosted application amplifies ANY weakness on your car and can put you in a bad situation, even experienced drivers.

Openly saying you are testing the limits of what your car can do on the streets and asking amateur questions is why people are giving you push back. We simply don't want to be an accessory to your possible death; even worse, you killing someone else.

Take a moment and really let the above sink in.... Seriously. It's not a joke.

Go to a track: drag strip, half mile, 1mile, circuit. There's going to be a flavor that meets your needs there. All the track surfaces are reasonable well maintained. Tracks also have fire and medical on site during their sessions in case of emergency. You will meet really cool people that want you to succeed in your goals and you will likely make awesome friends along the way.

There are some 17's that will clear the sport brakes. Not sure which ones, but I have seen it.

You could do a known good 17" to clear and bead lock it for drag radials. It will be more expensive wheel and tire combo; however, I did exactly just that. As an example, I had beadlocks put on the Nismo 57cr wheel by Mac Fab. Keep in mind this setup will not work as well as a 15, but I have future plans for that. I'm going to make a drag pack brake kit utilizing TBM brakes.

Note that you can't run the same setup as what I have. My car's electronics, or lack of, is different than yours. I'm showing it as an example of custom beadlocks. You will need to do some math to figure out the rotational differences. I believe it needs to be with-in 3% for OEM. There's web sites for that.

Also, you can not drive your car if it is damp or raining. If you run over spit on the road you might spin out. It's meant for driving to the drag strip, legal enough to get you there.

I'm offering up this information in confidence that you are intending to hit the dragstrip btw. Of which, I have a nagging feeling you are not.

Chen's questions in his brain this whole time...

"What's prep vs unprep?"

"What's so different on a drag strip?"...."ok fine I'll just tell them I go drag strip"

"What's a bead lock?"

His understanding of how a car works is simplistically str8 forward...every "problem" he had, the answer was to change to a different part. He thinks "buy a new part = fix a problem".

Stop wasting time.

At this point there's PLENTY of information, if he's serious, to do research on his own.

what is the size of this 57cr? I believe you got 18x10.5+22 and made it bead lock to hook the tire, how much whp your car make and how its hook? and it is only for drag racing? what is the total cost for the tire and wheel and fabric, but for my around 650 less than 700whp, I dont think I need the bead lock right now, but it looks safer with beadlock wheel
