I do not know how Z1 makes theirs, but in general, I would say that aluminum underpan is not friendly to V1 nismo bumpers because it creates too much stress to the bumper tabs if the tolerance is not spot on. nismo bumper has foam blocks that rest on top of the crash bumper, which pushes the bumper outward and as a result, the bumper constantly tries to rip itself away from the underpan. OEM plastic underpan is really the best.

I have an intercooler in the way so the foam block won’t fit. What about a chassis mounted splitter? You think something like that would prop up the bottom of the bumper assembly?
