Why were my manifolds glowing? Because your EGT's were through the roof. Probably butted some rings and stuck a piston or 3. Bye-Bye rods.

Yeah, think a piston stuck. Because it looks like they found a wrist pin outside of the block.

Lol, well it was fun while it lasted. I knew you guys would have a field day when it blew up. The funny thing is, driving it like that even on a built motor, who knows how long even that would last. Another thing, you can clearly see the diff bushings are blown out and he said the chassis was around 130k miles.. And he never did a true burnout as far as I could see. I bet the wheel hop would have ruined their event anyway.

He didnt have a diff brace on. They are getting it figured out, but guessing his welded diff blew up.
