Factory Paint Not All That Bad... ?

I took my oil cooler block off plate off for the summer and this is what it looks like When I looked at it through the grill I thought it

Default Factory Paint Not All That Bad... ?

I took my oil cooler block off plate off for the summer and this is what it looks like



When I looked at it through the grill I thought it was bugs, but those are actually rock chips. Now of course this is just a shitty two coats of cheap black spray paint, but it shows just how many rock strikes the front end takes. I only have a few chips on the actual car, nothing like those would suggest

You know it's bad when it only compares favorably to cheap rattle can paint.

You might consider hitting that with some rattle can 2k clear after you repaint - i'll bet it will perform on par with the OEM paint...

You must have gotten a particularly good batch of factory paint - my stock bumper looks your blockoff plate.

I was in the garage yesterday and thought to myself, "This paint is so sensitive." My bumper chipped itself in response.
