Just bought 2013 370z

I’m in a similar boat in that I just bought a 2013 with 81k miles with some history but not all. I was under the impression the 2013 and later Z’s had an oil cooler? Or did Nissan just make some changes to keep it cooler than older MY’s? Thanks

They added a oil cooler/sandwich plate to the oil filter stud that allows coolant to regulate the oil temp. I find it more useful for warming the engine up in cold weather than cooling it down in hot weather / when I'm flogging the car.

Tl;dr : get an oil cooler kit from Z1. You'll thank yourself.

Take a look at the differential cover for signs of a leak (looking at it from the rear of the car). If you see fluid stains (wheel hop is also a symptom), it's the diff bushing needing to be replaced.....
